Nurse Practitioner

Maggie Dotson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in neurosurgery. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University in 2016 and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization in 2022.

 

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a neurosurgery registered nurse at Northside Hospital and has dedicated her career to caring for patients with complex neurosurgical conditions. She brings over eight years of neurosurgical experience, including three years practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.

 

She works closely with patients and the neurosurgical team in the evaluation and management of a wide range of conditions, including spinal disorders, skull base tumors, Chiari malformations, trigeminal neuralgia, and pituitary tumors. She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and believes in helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout every step of their treatment journey.

 

Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time with friends and family. A fun fact about her is that she absolutely adores cats and is a proud cat mom to two cats of her own.
