Nancy Canter Weiner, doctora en medicina
Neuro-Ophthalmologist
After completing her neurology residency at Harvard Medical School and her fellowship, Dr. Weiner began a neuro-ophthalmology practice in Atlanta, GA.
She has spent her career in private practice, exclusively in neuro-ophthalmology as a solo practitioner.
While Dr. Weiner recognizes neuro-ophthalmology is almost exclusively a specialty limited to academia or perhaps combined with another subspecialty, she has been very fortunate to be able to focus exclusively on adult and pediatric neuro-ophthalmology patients her entire career. She treats patients from here in Georgia and nearby states, both adult and pediatric, with problems including malignant and benign brain tumors, demyelinating disease (MS, NMO, MOG), pseudotumor cerebri, myasthenia, cerebrovascular disease, diplopia, traumatic brain injury, optic neuropathy, cranial neuropathies, etc.
In 2022 Dr. Weiner merged her practice with Southeastern Neurosurgical Specialists and she continues to grow.
